Facilities:

Our meticulously clean, spacious and recently renovated ablution facilities, always has piping hot water on tap, are continuously serviced in season, with large sculleries, and we offer you a coin-operated Laundromat with ironing facilities, and enclosed wash lines, adjacent the ablution block. Maids are available for washing and ironing in season by arrangement, as well as free freezer space for your convenience.

Our Lakeside Rondawels (one room only) are fairly basic and are cosy, clean and neat. They are adequately furnished, double bed and two single bunk beds (4 Bed) and
the 5 bed one has another single bed, and are equipped with large fridges,
microwaves, electric hotplates, kettle, toaster and all utensils/crockery. Bedding is
supplied and each rondawel has it's own braai and a fantastic unobstructive
view of the lake. They do not have bathrooms, but are very close to the main
ablution facility.

Knysna HeadsA pair of prominent sandstone cliffs known as The Heads flank the channel through which the sea pours into Knysna?s lagoon.   The eastern Head is densely covered with luxury houses. On the lagoon, a small beach offers safe swimming waters, showering facilities, and access to the NSRI aquarium. A walkway leads to the end of the head, offering breathtaking views of the stormy sea channel and the opposite shore. Several caves lie along this path. The western Head is largely undeveloped and encompasses the Featherbed Nature Reserve. Ferry trips and guided trails to the reserve are available.
